I need help! I had a shabby chic sweet 16 party planned (in my head) with the vintage colors: pinks, light blue, burlap) and in 10 minutes, my daughter changed the color scheme to teal blue and black!! How can I still do shabby chic with those colors?

Nanci, try hitting up your local thrift stores to find some fun, black serving pieces. I would use teal as the accent color, and I would also use lots and lots of white in the color scheme, to keep it from feeling too heavy. Good luck!
